A little help,
right where you need it.

Start with the basics below. For a problem that needs a closer look, contact the developer with the app version, platform and steps to reproduce it.

Include your app version, operating system, expected result and actual result. Remove passwords, keys, hostnames and sensitive log content before sharing a diagnostic excerpt.

What do I need for the first connection?

An SSH-enabled server, its hostname or IP address, port, username and authentication method. Confirm the host fingerprint against your provider console or another trusted source before accepting it.

Why did a host-key change block my connection?

The server is presenting a different identity. Reinstallation or key rotation may explain this, but verify the new fingerprint independently before resetting trust. Do not accept a changed key only to dismiss the error.

Why is a service or Docker action unavailable?

Shortcuts depend on the tools detected on the remote server. Docker also needs permission to access its daemon. The app does not grant server privileges. Use an approved account and inspect the reported error.

Can I run an interactive terminal or editor?

Open Console → Terminal for an interactive SSH shell with a PTY. It supports terminal applications and shell state while that session remains open. Keystrokes go directly to the shell. Use Scripts when you want a separate, reviewed command preview. Closing the shell keeps SSH connected; use Open terminal to start a new shell. If SSH disconnects, reconnect to the server first.

What happens when I leave the app?

On mobile, normal backgrounding disconnects SSH and clears editable secret fields. Windows normally keeps the connection when minimized or when you switch apps; locking the session, sleep or exit closes it. If desktop lock notifications are unavailable, Windows uses a conservative disconnect-on-deactivation fallback. The app’s own file-picker and share flows are exempt from ordinary mobile backgrounding. A remote command can continue after the client disconnects.

Where are downloaded files saved?

Downloads first use a temporary file in the app’s private cache. Windows offers Save As; mobile uses the operating system’s share dialog. If saving is cancelled or fails, use Save completed download in Files to save the cached file without downloading again, even after SSH disconnects.

A mobile share dialog cannot confirm that another app saved the file. Check your saved copy before choosing Discard temporary copy. Save or discard the pending file before downloading another, and save what you need before restarting: the app attempts to clear its transfer cache at next launch. Exported copies remain where you saved them.

The upload completed, but the folder did not refresh. Should I upload again?

Refresh the directory first. A failed refresh does not undo an acknowledged upload. If the upload itself was interrupted and its outcome is unknown, inspect the remote path before retrying because a partial file may remain.

Why did a demo link open in my browser?

The web preview is the fallback when no compatible app is installed or the release’s app-link setup is not available. Check the current platform status before looking for an app-store download.
